In today’s digital world entrepreneurs have to think out of the box of social media. Yep, I said social media could become a box.  Companies cannot rely solely in social media, but should rely in content marketing integration.

This integration becomes the core of a complete marketing strategy.  And entrepreneurs do not need to hire a costly agency to do so.  We all know all the challenges that a startup company faces; one of them is staying on budget.

Managing your own social media is definitely a plus.  But, if within your budget you prefer to hire an expert make sure integration is part of their marketing plan for your company. But above all, make sure they include content marketing in the plan.

According to the Content Marketing Institute, content marketing is defined as “a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.

Simple, content marketing is selling by educating your audience on topics related to your product without pushing your product to their faces. This digital media marketing efforts should incorporate content marketing in all aspects of your brand image like: webpage, social media, videos, blogs, public relations, advertising….everything, they have to breathe integration.

Integration can become overwhelming if you do not have an exact idea which way your brand should go to.  A thorough analysis of your brand and audience is very important to succeed in your content marketing integration.

When working with content marketing there a lot of details you have to take into account. If you miss a detail it can jeopardize sales, your image, a good deal, or even the chance to get the message where it has to go; content marketing can take time to understand, but it is worth it.

Those days where your product ad was enough to convince your audience are gone. Now the audience is asking for more in less the time.  Audience now studies and analyzes brands by its content marketing and how it connects with them. If the audience feels connected, they will become customers and the best marketing tool.
